The advanced workshop show how to use Model Referencing and Variant subsystems to be able to use a plant model together with the HANcoder model, this way the controller can be tuned before trying it on the real system. This could safe a lot of time and test time with real hardware can be significantly reduced. Once the controller has been tuned it takes only one click of a button to go to the real system with exactly the same control algorithm. The same system is used as in the basic workshop. The advanced workshop is only available as pdf:
