3-6 Initiation of the Safety Lifecycle

During the Initiation of the safety lifecycle the distinction between a new product or an existing product is made. In case of an existing product the safety lifecycle may be taylored on the condition that the tayloring can be justified and that the justification is documented in the Safety Case.
