5-7 Hardware Design
From OpenMBD
During this phase the electrical hardware is developed according to the System Design Specification and the Hardware Safety Requirements. Also the non-safety requirements will be taken into account in order to ensure both functional safety as a complete set of functionality. Also the accordance of the Hardware Design to the Hardware Safety Requirements and the System Design is verified at the end of this phase.
The Hardware Design covers two main topics:
Hardware Architectural Design
- This part represents all hardware components and their interaction with one another.
Hardware Detailed Design
- This contains the electrical schematics representing the interconnection between hardware parts composing the Hardware components.
